The Never-Ending To-Do List at Home
It’s hard to believe it’ll be two years of owning our house at the end of this month. Time has flown by and the projects are slowing down (thankfully!). I understand the concept of the never-ending list my parents had of things to do around the house now but I’m excited to be on “maintenance mode” instead of “project mode.” I can proudly say I’ve become a pretty good painter since moving in (we’ve painted every space on the first floor and half of the second floor), I’ve learned that all projects take longer than I originally anticipated, and not everything needs to change at one time (Michael is good at reminding me that we have lots of years ahead in this house so change doesn’t need to occur in an instant). As we hit this milestone in our house, I thought it would be fitting to share some of the most dramatic changes we’ve done to our home since we moved to Blandon 😊
The first major project we tackled: the living room/kitchen area (not pictured). All I can say is that I’m very thankful my dad is handy as he and Michael installed the flooring in this space and it made all the difference!
